Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pleaded with the US on Wednesday during his speech at Congress to fast-track military aid to "Israel" to end the war in Gaza.

"I deeply appreciate America's support, including in this current war. But this is an exceptional moment. Fast-tracking US military aid could dramatically expedite an end to the war in Gaza and help prevent a broader war in the Middle East," Netanyahu told the US lawmakers.

His request for more and fast-tracked military aid from the US is only to be reflected in massacres committed on the ground in Gaza as evident since October 7. The IOF have in many cases deployed US-supplied heavy bombs to kill innocent Palestinian civilians. Just this month, "Israel" used US-manufactured JDAM bombs to carry out the al-Mawasi massacre, resulting in 390 Palestinians being either killed or injured.

Furthermore, Netanyahu claimed that he was actively working to free the captives in Gaza, expressing optimism that such efforts would be successful, completely turning a blind eye to the fact that he had obstructed all attempts to reach a deal since before the talks started.

Netanyahu voiced confidence in the ongoing efforts to secure the release of Israeli captives held in Gaza with Noa Argamani, one of the released captives, present at the event.

"I'm confident that these efforts can succeed, some of them are taking place right now," Netanyahu said, adding, "I want to thank President [Joe] Biden for his tireless efforts on behalf of the hostages."

He further called on Wednesday for a "demilitarized" and "deradicalized" post-war Gaza, while insisting on achieving victory, although nine months later, Hamas is yet to be eliminated as he vowed at the beginning of the war.

"The day after we defeat Hamas, a new Gaza can emerge. My vision for that day is of a demilitarized and deradicalized Gaza," Netanyahu told lawmakers in an address to the US Congress.

"Following our victory, with the help of regional partners, the demilitarization and deradicalization of Gaza can also lead to a future of security, prosperity and peace. That's my vision for Gaza," he added, before claiming that "Israel" does not seek to reoccupy Gaza.

"But for the foreseeable future, we must retain overriding security control there to prevent the resurgence of terror, to ensure that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel," he insisted.

To this end, he reiterated his call for a Strip with "a civilian administration run by Palestinians who do not seek to destroy Israel."

"That's not too much to ask," he affirmed.

Dozens of Democrats abstained from Netanyahu's speech to the US Congress, citing concerns over the humanitarian situation and death toll among Palestinian civilians in "Israel's" war on Gaza.

As he addressed a US Congress split over his genocide in Gaza and the growing humanitarian cost, Netanyahu urged legislators to remain united amid Washington's criticism of "Israel's" nine-month war on Gaza and Netanyahu's domestic challenges as a result of protests in "Israel" by the families of captives.

Republicans gave him a thunderous reception as he entered the chamber, among empty seats as some US legislators boycotted the address in protest.

"For the forces of civilization to triumph, America and Israel must stand together," Netanyahu said, as Republicans cheered him on. However, Senator Chuck Schumer was noticed to have coldly welcomed him and did not shake Netanyahu's hand.

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, on her part, was seen seated in the chamber, holding a placard that read: "Guilty in Genocide" and one that said: "War Criminal".

So-called 'axis of terror'

During his speech, Netanyahu resorted to deliberately spreading and fabricating lies to deceive public opinion about what is happening in the Gaza Strip, not to mention his attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, amid several rounds of applause by members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, amounting to at least 53 times.

He told lawmakers that "Israel", the United States, and the Arab world are threatened by what he called Iran's "axis of terror," in reference to the Axis of Resistance coming together in support of Gaza and the Palestinian Resistance and dealing one mighty blow to the occupation after the other.

"Our world is in upheaval. In the Middle East, Iran's axis of terror confronts America, Israel, and our Arab friends. This is not a clash of civilizations. It's a clash between barbarism and civilization," Netanyahu said, blatantly proving and bringing back the "us versus them" ideology that the West uses in every war it conducts.

He then stated that "Israel" will do "whatever it must" to secure its northern border against the Lebanese Resistance.

"Let me be clear: Israel will do whatever it must do to restore security to our northern border and return our people safely to their homes," Netanyahu said, while hundreds of settlers in northern occupied Palestine who were forced out of the region under Hezbollah's fire are calling him a traitor for leaving them behind.

When speaking of Yemen, following the Yemeni Armed Forces' strike on Tel Aviv last week, Netanyahu with full confidence said, “Those who attack Israel will pay a very heavy price,” and added, "When we’re fighting the Houthis, we’re fighting Iran," playing the Iranian card once again in an attempt to downplay the effect of the operation that shook the Israeli entity to its core.

'Tehran-funded protests'

Netanyahu called the thousands of people protesting the catastrophic war in Gaza and the ongoing genocide "Iran's useful idiots," alleging that Tehran is supporting the protests, in an attempt to downplay their effect by taking an aim at their intentions.

"I have a message for these protesters: When the tyrants of Tehran who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair are praising, promoting and funding you, you have officially become Iran's useful idiots," Netanyahu continued.

"When we fight Iran, we're fighting the most radical and murderous enemy of the United States of America," Netanyahu said. "We're not only protecting ourselves. We're protecting you… Our enemies are your enemy, our fight is your fight, and our victory will be your victory."

He further called on the US to forge a security alliance called the "Abraham Alliance" in the Middle East to counter what he alleged was an "Iranian threat", noting that a new such alliance would be a "natural extension" of the normalization agreements.

He confidently said all the countries that will normalize relations with "Israel" should be invited to join this alliance, expressing his intent to work with the US and Arab countries to "transform' the Middle East.

He then praised Republican candidate Donald Trump for supporting "Israel", in yet another attempt at paying lip service to America to get money and weapons.

"I... want to thank President Trump for all the things he did for Israel. From recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights to confronting Iran's aggression to recognizing Jerusalem as our capital and moving the American embassy there," Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu’s visit to the US and his speech before Congress prompted massive demonstrations against the Israeli Prime Minister and the ongoing Israeli war of genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Protesters flocked to the area just outside the Capitol building prior to Netanyahu's speech before a joint session of the US Congress.

Hundreds of demonstrators have thus far gathered, waving banners and chanting slogans against Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden.

Police used pepper spray on some of the thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters who gathered outside the US Capitol on Wednesday while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Congress.

The protesters are demanding the arrest of Netanyahu for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

Among their other demands is an end to the genocidal war in Gaza and a halt to all arms supplies to “Israel”, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the US.

Activists even dyed multiple fountains around Capitol Hill with red and projections cast demanding the arrest of Netanyahu.
